Well from the looks of it, this girl doesn't really look like she needs to diet all that much. But what is good is that she can laugh about the whole dieting culture so to speak. It made me laugh anyways, kudos to her.

Interesting Stuff Here

Well I mainly try to stick to the light side of things with dieting. But I may post a dieting tip or fact if I think it may actually have some value to everyone out there, so I ran across this today. A pretty interesting fact, AND useful you might say.

"In a recent study of 13,500 people, those who climbed up and down about 100 steps a day reduced their risk of death by nearly 20%. This reduction is equivalent to walking about 2 miles a day and is equal to the calorie burn of a 30 minute brisk walk, so pass up the elevator for the stairs."

It's almost the weekend, yay!

This is a great way not to diet, but it IS a great way to have a little fun with your diet. This man had his daughter whip him up a tasty, low calorie, low fat meal for his diet. Boy did she deliver. You will just have to watch and see what great food is on his plate. Enjoy! Diets oh no!

Crazy Diet Lady!!!!

I think this lady may have felt a little guilty about her midnight raid of the refrierator. Luckily, her guilt makes for a good laugh for all. But honestly I think we have all had these moments when it comes to dieting, or even just watching your diet. Sometimes you just get a craving for something sweet, and even though you know you should resist... you just can't help it. Enjoy!

The "Light" World of Dieting

Well I wanted to start this blog not so much to tell you all of the latest dieting fads, low fat recipes, and best exercises. This is a place for those of us who can make a little light of this whole crazy die-society that we live in. I will be the first to admit that I could stand to drop a few (40-50) pounds, and have even tried a few dieting fads myself, but we all know deep down in our hearts that the fads are not the way to go! Right? right!? Yes, it IS right. The way to lose those pounds is through a healthy diet and regular exercise. These 2 simple lifestyle changes is all it really takes, yet why is it so hard!? But I digress, lets not get into that, the world of dieting is quite the struggle, and thus creates many funny, interesting, or inspiring situationd. Many of which we can laugh, think, and even sometimes be inspired to take action from! So let us take a look at the diet industry from our point of view, the diet industries point of view, and the WORLDS point of view…

The diet industry creates some pretty humorous commercials, one of which I will start with right here! So let us begin our look into the lighter side of dieting.
